How I Lost $20,000 to Wyatt Roderick and Carson Reed's AI Agency Mastermind

I was utterly deflated by the course material of AI Agency Mastermind. Back in March 2025, I shelled out a hefty $20,000 after being completely drawn in by one of their slick webinars. They dangled promises of exclusive, proprietary training in front of me, but the reality? Once I gained access to their portal, my heart sank. So much of it was just rehashed basics you could find anywhere – YouTube videos, random free blogs, even stuff you could get by simply asking ChatGPT. I sat there scrolling through their “advanced AI prompt engineering“ module one evening, feeling a knot in my stomach as I recognized examples that looked suspiciously similar to publicly available prompt libraries. Their “client acquisition strategy“ wasn't groundbreaking either – just run-of-the-mill cold email templates I'd seen countless times before.

The daily coaching calls were a continuous source of frustration. Between April and July 2025, they cancelled 17 scheduled calls with barely an hour's notice. Another 9 were rescheduled to times when I had explicitly mentioned I couldn't attend. On May 12th, I remember clearing my entire morning – rearranging meetings and postponing client work – for a promised strategy session. The cancellation notification popped up on my phone just as I was settling in with my coffee, ready to learn.

The Discord community was a letdown of epic proportions. Marketed as a vibrant hub buzzing with AI entrepreneurs, it felt eerily quiet and unresponsive. I posted direct questions about implementation challenges with a local client – real problems I needed help with – only to watch them gather digital dust for over two weeks. While hundreds of “members“ supposedly existed, the same 6-7 profiles dominated 90% of all conversations. I couldn't help but notice the similar writing patterns and generic responses among many profiles.

Accountability? Nonexistent. The program promised weekly check-ins and progress tracking, but after my onboarding call in late March 2025, the leadership team vanished. I sent multiple request emails throughout April, May, and June 2025, each one more desperate than the last. Nothing but silence in return.

In August 2025, I tried contacting Wyatt and Carson directly through their so-called “priority support“ email. No response. I sent five follow-up emails throughout September and October 2025. Still nothing. Meanwhile, their social media accounts remained active – quickly responding to prospective customers and promoting new cohorts with enthusiastic promises.

My further research revealed they were no longer available on payment platforms including Whop.com and Stripe. When November came around and I attempted to request a refund, the payment processor informed me that AI Agency Mastermind had been suspended from their platform. My refund path was completely blocked.

From my experience, dropping $20,000 on this program delivered minimal value: recycled content, inconsistent coaching, and practically zero support when needed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this program to anyone serious about building an AI-based business.
