Victim Story #46
AI Agency Mastermind Review: I Paid $20,000 and Got Nothing
I signed a contract with the AI Agency Mastermind's full DFY program and courses back in March 2025, shelling out $20,000 after sitting through their persuasive webinar. They talked a big game about comprehensive support and cutting-edge AI business strategies that, honestly, had me pretty excited about the possibilities.
When I finally got access to their portal on March 17th, 2025, my heart sank a little. The course materials, touted as revolutionary and cutting-edge, felt anything but. After meticulously working through all 12 modules over a couple of weeks (no small feat), I realized most videos were recorded way back in 2023. Many featured AI tools that had either completely disappeared or transformed beyond recognition since filming. So much for “constantly updated“ content. The newest material I could track down was from November 2024, despite them repeatedly emphasizing “weekly updates“ during that slick sales pitch. Looking at my bank account $20,000 lighter in April 2025 felt especially painful when I stumbled across nearly identical tutorials on YouTube… completely free.
The so-called “proprietary training“ was disappointingly basic. Their “advanced prompt engineering“ module, for instance, contained nothing you couldn't find in OpenAI's free documentation. What they marketed as “insider knowledge“ turned out to be elementary instructions on using ChatGPT and Midjourney—information readily available through a quick Google search.
The daily coaching calls became a constant source of frustration. Between April and July 2025, I counted 27 scheduled calls canceled with barely two hours' notice. The calls that actually happened weren't much better. My specific questions about implementing their strategies were met with vague, non-committal answers and empty promises to “follow up later“—follow-ups that never materialized.
The Discord community was equally disappointing. Despite their claims of “800+ active members,“ I rarely saw more than 10-15 people engaging at any time. Many profiles featured generic AI-generated avatars with suspiciously similar writing patterns. Questions I posted in Discord languished unanswered for 2-3 weeks between March and September 2025.
I reached out directly to Wyatt and Carson multiple times—April 5th, May 12th, June 20th, and July 7th, 2025—but my emails disappeared into the void. After investing such a significant amount of money, the complete radio silence from the program leaders felt like salt in an already painful wound.
By August 2025, I tried requesting a refund, only to discover they'd been dropped by their payment processor. Representatives at both Stripe and Whop.com confirmed they had suspended AI Agency Mastermind's account.
Come December 2025, I had to face facts: my $20,000 investment had evaporated with little to show for it and no apparent recourse. The entire experience stood in stark contrast to the professional development program that had been so convincingly advertised.
