Don't Make My Mistake: I Lost $20,000 to AI Agency Mastermind

I took the plunge and invested $20,000 in the AI Agency Mastermind program back in March 2025. The money—a hefty chunk of my annual business development budget—left my account on March 15th, as my bank statement clearly shows. Their sleek payment platform made it easy to part with my hard-earned cash. I was genuinely excited, having been won over by their promises of hands-on support and what they called “exclusive“ training materials.

Then reality hit. The silence was deafening. I fired off 14 increasingly desperate emails between April and September. Nothing. I sent 23 direct messages on Discord. Crickets. The contrast was jarring—before I paid, Wyatt and Carson were practically falling over themselves to respond within hours. After? Complete radio silence for months on end.

Twenty thousand dollars. That's what I paid for this ghosting experience. Unacceptable doesn't begin to cover it.

The promised daily coaching calls? More like daily disappointments. During my six-month stint from March through September, a staggering 76% of scheduled calls were either canceled outright or rescheduled at the last minute—sometimes with less than an hour's notice. Of the measly 24 calls that actually happened, 19 were cut short to less than half the promised hour. I'd barely get my questions lined up before the call would end.

The Discord “support“ was a joke. Technical questions sat unanswered for weeks on end. On April 23rd, I posted a detailed question about setting up a specific AI agent configuration. I followed up five separate times over the next month. Nothing. Not even a “we're looking into this.“

Something felt off about the Discord community too. The same 15-20 accounts kept posting generic responses that never actually addressed specific questions. In May, I direct messaged five of these supposedly active “community members.“ Not one replied. Strange behavior for what was billed as a tight-knit, engaged community.

The training materials were perhaps the biggest letdown. Their “exclusive, proprietary training“ turned out to be basic AI concepts I could have found on YouTube for free. Their advanced prompt engineering examples? Identical to OpenAI's free documentation. Their AI agency pricing guidance? A rehash of publicly available blog posts from 2024. Nothing exclusive or proprietary about any of it.

Despite promises of regular updates, the material remained stagnant. The newest video I could access was from January 2025—two months before I even joined.

When I finally tried to request a refund in September, I discovered they'd been booted from both Whop.com and Stripe. Emails from both platforms confirmed AI Agency Mastermind had been suspended for “misrepresenting services“ and “excessive refund requests.“

My attempts to track down their business information hit dead ends. Despite searching business registries across multiple states, I couldn't locate a physical address or working phone number, making it impossible to resolve my concerns about the service—or lack thereof—I received.
