Victim Story #66
AI Agency Mastermind Review: I Paid $20,000 and Got Nothing
I handed over $20,000 to the AI Agency Mastermind program on April 23, 2025. The full payment stung my bank account after their slick pitch convinced me I'd be getting something truly special. Within days of logging in, though, my heart sank. This supposedly “exclusive, proprietary training“ was nothing but recycled information I could've found anywhere. God, the disappointment was real.
Scrolling through modules 1-3, I kept having déjà vu moments. Wait a minute… this content is practically identical to stuff I'd already watched for free on YouTube from channels like “AI Explained“ and “Prompt Engineering 101.“ Not a shred of unique insight anywhere. Their much-hyped “proprietary client acquisition strategy“? Just basic cold email templates that weren't any different from what countless free blogs offer.
Twenty thousand dollars. Gone. For material I either already knew or could've googled without spending a dime. Their “advanced prompt engineering techniques“ section was basically a copy-paste job from OpenAI's public documentation, and their “business systems“ looked suspiciously like standard procedures you'd find in any free resource online.
The daily coaching calls were a major selling point that fell flat on its face. Between May 5 and June 30, 2025, they cancelled a whopping 17 out of 40 scheduled calls. Sometimes they'd notify me less than an hour before through Discord – “Sorry, something came up.“ When calls actually happened, they'd rush through in 15-20 minutes instead of the promised hour, giving vague answers that never tackled my specific questions.
Their “active Discord support“ was a joke. I posted questions about implementing their client acquisition strategy that sat unanswered for over three weeks despite my daily follow-ups. The Discord itself felt off. With supposedly 500+ members, I only ever saw the same 8-10 profiles posting. These accounts had weirdly similar writing patterns and generic profile pictures. It made me wonder if I was talking to real people at all.
Leadership accountability? Nonexistent. My weekly progress check-ins – contractually guaranteed, mind you – never happened. From April 20 to September 10, 2025, I sent reminder emails every single week. Nothing. Not one scheduled check-in materialized.
In July 2025, when I really needed help with their “guaranteed client-getting framework,“ Wyatt and Carson went radio silent. I sent 14 emails and 27 Discord messages between July and October without a single reply. Funny though – back in early April when I was still considering the purchase, they responded to my pre-purchase questions within minutes.
Later, I discovered they weren't even on Whop.com or Stripe anymore. When I tried to claim my refund in August 2025 under their “30-day satisfaction guarantee,“ the payment processor told me they'd been suspended. I've sent multiple certified letters and emails requesting my money back. Six months later, still nothing but crickets.
The group coaching calls were eerily empty. During the 23 calls that actually happened between April and October 2025, I'd look at my screen and see just 3-4 other people who seemed to be buddies of the owners rather than actual paying customers like me.
The whole experience has left me feeling like I flushed $20,000 down the drain for something that wasn't even close to what they promised.
