I Trusted AI Agency Mastermind with $20,000 — Here's What I Got

I took the plunge and invested $20,000 in AI Agency Mastermind on March 17, 2025. Their marketing was slick and convincing - I'll give them that. But man, what a letdown it turned out to be.

The so-called “exclusive, proprietary training“ was nothing special. I remember sitting at my desk late one night, clicking through their “Advanced AI Prompt Engineering“ module, and thinking, “Wait, I've seen all this before.“ It was literally just basic prompting techniques you can find on any free YouTube tutorial or blog post. I actually pulled up OpenAI's documentation side by side with their materials and - no joke - found nearly identical content. They'd just repackaged free information with fancy graphics. There wasn't a single unique insight that justified the hefty price tag I'd paid.

The promised daily coaching calls? A complete joke. Between April and August 2025, most were cancelled or rescheduled last-minute. I'd block out time in my calendar, reschedule client meetings, then get a notification hours before that the call wasn't happening. This happened three Mondays in a row during May - I remember because I'd specifically arranged childcare for those sessions.

The Discord support was a ghost town. I posted detailed technical questions about implementing AI tools for my business on April 3, April 17, and May 6. Crickets. Weeks would go by before I'd get a response, and when I did, it was unhelpfully vague. Something felt off about the community too. Many profiles had weirdly similar writing patterns, and conversations often felt staged rather than genuine.

As for accountability? Zero. The program promised weekly check-ins and milestone tracking, but Wyatt and Carson vanished once I paid. I emailed them directly on May 22, June 8, and July 15, 2025, asking specific questions about implementing their strategies. Not a single response.

Their “advanced strategies and insider knowledge“ was just basic information any beginner could Google. And despite claims of “constantly updated material,“ some resources still referenced outdated GPT-3 techniques from 2022, even though we were using much more sophisticated models by 2025.

The contrast in their attentiveness was striking. In February 2025, when I was still a prospect with my wallet closed, they'd respond within minutes. After payment? Radio silence.

I noticed something strange about the Discord users too. Conversations followed odd patterns where “members“ would ask perfectly timed questions that set up promotional responses. Many profiles used suspiciously similar phrasing and writing styles.

The final blow came in September 2025 when I tried to get my money back. I discovered they'd been removed from both Whop.com and Stripe. When I contacted these payment processors directly, they confirmed the accounts had been suspended.

Despite sending countless emails and Discord messages over six straight months from April through September 2025, I never received a single response after they had my money. The few group coaching calls that actually happened seemed to be attended mainly by friends of the creators rather than paying members.

I feel completely misled about my $20,000 investment in what was ultimately a disappointing program that failed to deliver on virtually all of its promises.
