Victim Story #90
Warning: I Lost $20,000 to the AI Agency Mastermind Program
I plunged into the AI Agency Mastermind program on April 17, 2025, shelling out a hefty $20,000 after being lured in by slick ads and glowing testimonials plastered all over my feeds. It wasn't pocket change for me – far from it – but the promises of cutting-edge AI strategies and hands-on support seemed worth every penny at the time.
Boy, was I in for a rude awakening. Within days of getting access, my hopes for those “advanced strategies“ crumbled like a stale cookie. The content was painfully basic – nothing you couldn't find with a quick Google search. I remember sitting at my desk one evening, coffee growing cold beside me, as I clicked through their “proprietary“ prompt engineering modules only to realize I'd seen the exact same concepts in YouTube videos I'd watched months ago. Their supposedly groundbreaking “advanced GPT techniques“ section? Literally just OpenAI's documentation with a fresh coat of paint.
The coaching calls situation was abysmal. Between April and June, I managed to attend just 4 out of the promised 40+ sessions – the rest vanished from the calendar without explanation. And those rare calls that actually happened? Rushed 20-minute affairs where my specific questions got brushed aside, not the in-depth strategy sessions they'd advertised.
The Discord community left me scratching my head. Instead of the vibrant hub of AI entrepreneurs I was promised, I found a ghost town with sporadic, cookie-cutter responses. Technical questions sat gathering dust for weeks. I still remember posting about an API integration issue on May 3rd, checking back daily for answers, only to receive a vague, unhelpful response on June 12th – more than a month later.
The contrast in communication before and after payment was stark. Wyatt and Carson were lightning-fast with responses while they were courting my business in early April. Post-payment? Radio silence. I sent 14 unanswered emails between April 20th and October 5th, 2025. Twice a week, I'd hop on Discord hoping to catch them – nothing.
The training materials felt oddly familiar because they were. Their “exclusive“ AI sales script generator spat out templates practically identical to free resources on HubSpot and Copy.ai. The strategies section contained information so dated (from 2023) it was practically irrelevant for current AI models.
Implementation support? Nonexistent. I crafted detailed emails on April 30th, May 15th, June 8th, and July 22nd outlining specific challenges I was facing. My inbox remained empty.
By August, I discovered that payment platforms including Whop.com and Stripe had apparently cut ties with the program. When I reached out about a refund, they informed me they couldn't process it through their systems.
Despite hours of searching, I couldn't find a single registered business name, physical address, or working phone number for these people. It was like chasing ghosts.
For anyone eyeing this program: my experience included perpetually cancelled calls, leadership that vanished after payment, recycled free materials, a barren community, and none of the promised “done-for-you“ services. Think long and hard before you drop $20,000 here.
