Victim Story #97
$20,000 Invested in AI Agency Mastermind — Zero Return
AI Agency Mastermind: My Honest Experience
I took the plunge and purchased the AI Agency Mastermind program back in March 2025, shelling out a hefty $20,000 after being completely drawn in by their slick marketing promises. The claim that really hooked me was their content being “constantly updated with new material.“ Sounded perfect, right? Well, the following six months told a completely different story.
The resources they provided were frustratingly outdated and had noticeable gaps. I'd scroll through modules still referencing AI technology from 2023 while we were well into 2025 with dramatically more advanced capabilities. It was jarring. I mean, the course was still teaching strategies for GPT-4 when GPT-5 had already been out for three months before I even bought the program.
The program seemed to be running about two years behind current AI developments. This lag made most of the information feel irrelevant in an industry that changes almost weekly. Modules on prompt engineering referenced techniques that had become obsolete compared to what newer AI models could do, and many case studies featured tools that companies had already discontinued. During the rare coaching calls that actually happened (more on that later), any questions about newer AI models were met with vague, uncomfortable responses or quick subject changes.
This program simply did not justify the $20,000 price tag. After spending some time comparing the content with free resources online, I discovered that roughly 80% of the material was information readily available on YouTube and various blogs. Their so-called “proprietary strategies“ were just basic applications of AI tools that I figured out myself after a few days of playing around with the technology.
Those daily coaching calls they promised? Frequently canceled or rescheduled with barely any notice. I kept track – between March and September 2025, out of the promised 120+ coaching calls, only 27 actually took place. And when sessions did happen, they were often cut short or run by junior team members instead of the founders who were plastered all over the marketing materials.
The Discord support was equally disappointing. My questions consistently sat unanswered for days or sometimes weeks. I documented 32 specific questions about implementing AI strategies for client work – none received responses. Other members who asked similar questions seemed to face the same wall of silence.
Something felt off about the Discord community itself. Many profiles and interactions didn't ring true – generic responses, strange activity patterns at odd hours. Conversations lacked the natural flow you'd expect from real human interaction, and I noticed similar “success stories“ appearing repeatedly with slight variations in wording.
The accountability they promised from leadership never materialized. The program guaranteed weekly check-ins and milestone reviews, but I didn't receive a single one during my six months. Despite multiple requests, I never got feedback on my implementation attempts or business progress.
When I needed help with my first client project in April 2025, Wyatt and Carson were nowhere to be found. I sent detailed messages outlining my challenges on five separate occasions over two weeks but got nothing but silence in return.
Between April and August, I reached out multiple times through Discord and email about specific technical issues with their recommended AI tools. Not a single reply came back – not even for basic clarification questions about course materials.
After sending a detailed email on July 12, 2025, listing all the unfulfilled promises, I received no response. This stung particularly hard after investing $20,000 of my hard-earned money.
The stark contrast in their behavior was crystal clear. When I was still a prospect with my credit card not yet charged, I received immediate attention – responses to pre-sale questions within minutes. Wyatt personally called me twice to address concerns and made extensive promises about the support I would receive.
For anyone considering this program, my experience included: frequently canceled and sparse calls, completely unresponsive leadership, course materials that I later found available elsewhere for free, minimal community engagement, zero accountability, and none of the promised “done-for-you“ services that were a major selling point that convinced me to buy.
